So the 6th day of stencil project has past and well no photo because i couldn’t even do it for six days strait. As usual I was a little more ambitious than time allows me to be at the moment. Anyways I’m gonna save that project for the new year since I will be cutting back on hours spent at work in school.
So what the hell have I been doing? Well, I just finished the first of three paintings for my design class and it only took 42 hours outside of the class room and of course the project is due Wednesday. This project has quickly turned into a big nightmare mostly my fault did i mention i’m a little ambitious when it comes to art work? In addition to that I just finished a little mini photography series inspired by rothco’s paintings and finished my lino print and am working on a new silk screen. That being said as soon as I catch my breath i will be scanning/photographing my work and will post soon.
Don’t give up on me,

I am doing an awful job at keeping up with this little blog. In my defense not only am I working full time I am taking 3 art classes that’s 16 hours of just sitting in the classroom a week and at least and additional 20 hours of working on the projects either at home or in the lab. If you’ve ever taken more than one art class at a time you understand it is both creatively and physically exhausting. I have completed three pieces and will be posting them as soon as they have been returned, until that time I wanted to say that I am being creative every day and that I am in fact still alive.
On that note I wanted to mention what “creative” plans I have for the future outside of continuing my formal education in the arts. As an artist I like to do project based work, but as previously mentioned I’m a little short on time especially for my own personal endeavors. Then I had a brilliant idea (or at least I like to think so.)
THE PLAN! The plan is to create a stencil on a 2x2 inch square every day for a year! I will print a grid every 6 days and will be posting them as soon as they are dry enough to scan. I look forward to sharing these mini stencils and look forward to your comments.
I’ll return in the not so distant future!
